Since 2015, we have been the exclusive yacht painter for Boarnstream Yachting’s beautiful luxury yachts.
We give all Boarnstream yacht models a fresh new look. The older models, as well as the new Boarncruiser models—the “Lounge,” the “Elegance,” the “Traveler,” and the very luxurious and large “Ocean”—are transported from Irnsum to Sneek by road or, sometimes, by water.
In Sneek, they are filled and painted in one of our two sheds at “it Ges.” It’s a major undertaking that, depending on the length of the vessel, can take up to 4 to 5 months. The Boarnstream yachts, typically ranging from 12 to 17 meters in length, are smoothed out and given a glossy finish by the Eitze Dijkstra team. Shiny and smooth as glass, they leave Sneek and return to Boarnstream in Irnsum, or head to the shipbuilder.
In addition to filling and painting Boarnstream’s newly built vessels, we also perform maintenance and repair work on the paintwork. That’s why we occasionally work on-site in Irnsum as well.
